Abstract

402,663. Cow-milkers. AKTIEBOLAGET MANUS, Norrk÷ping, and ELLISON, C. E., 66, Smalandsgatan, Norrk÷ping, Sweden. April 19, 1933, No. 11481. [Class 84.] A teat cup comprises a non- telescoping casing 1, a lining sleeve 3 the ends whereof are flanged or rolled over and secured to the casing by metal rings 4, 5, and a glass bottom cup 9 secured by the ring 5 so that a flange 12 on the cup 9 presses against the flange or fold of the sleeve 3. An elastic ring 13 is inserted between the flange 12 and the ring 5 so that the cup 9 is resiliently connected to the teat cup. The bottom cup may be formed with a nozzle 10 wherein a rubber tube 11 is inserted and secured by a metal nipple 14. Ridges 6 may be provided on the rings 4, 5 and the edges 7 of the casing may be thickened to increase the strength of the fastening. A rubber ring 8 may be inserted in the top of the teat cup.
