Abstract

270,082. Aktiebolaget Manus, and Ellison, C. E. April 27, 1926. Cow-milkers.-In teat cups of milking-machines, of the kind wherein an elastic lining 3 is secured to the outer tube or casing 1 by folding over the ends of the lining, external transverse ribs or the like 4 are provided in the lining throughout its length. Each securing ring 5, 6 has - a circumferential ridge 7, and the ends of the tube 1 are preferably slightly widened or expanded as at 8 to co-operate with the ridges for holding the rings securely in position. A rubber ring 9 affords protection to the teat from the inner edge of the ring 5, and the lower ring 6 is fixed to a flanged ring 15 which serves to carry the cup 11 and milk nozzle 12.
