Abstract

402,559. Mixing-valves. DEWES, G. W., 83, Gordon Road, Fleetwood, Lancashire. Aug. 30, 1932, No. 24163. [Class 135.] A mixing-valve body 1 has two inlets 2, one outlet 4, and a fixed indicator-pin 5 which co-operates with a dial 6 rotating with the plug. The plug has three passages, one twice the size of the other two, and grooves 17 which are filled with packing. The body is recessed to receive a washer 11 below the closure 10. The ends of a further recess 12 extending along a portion only of the circumference form stops for a pin mounted on the plug and working therein.
