Abstract

402,507. Plug couplings. SEVER, W., Armadale, King's Road, Bramhope, Leeds. June 28, 1932, No. 18204. [Class 38 (i).] The pins 7, 9 are furnished with removable sleeves 11, 12 that increase the diameter of the pins to a variable extent to fit different sockets. The sleeves are preferable slit and are formed with flanges at the base whereby they are clamped when a cover 2 is secured to the body 1 by a screw 6. The pins are mounted in separate discs 8, 10, each slotted to fit over a boss 4 and over the other pin, so as to allow adjustment of the pitch of the pins. The invention maybe applied to round or other shaped contact pins.
