Abstract

402,474. Plug couplings. ARNOLD, C. L., and M. K. ELECTRIC, Ltd., Wakefield Street, Edmonton, London. May 27, 1933, No. 15197/32. [Class 38 (i).] A resilient socket 3, 5 surrounded by an inextensible band 15 retained in position between projections 13, pressed from the socket, and a bell mouth 9, has the sides 11 of the bell cut away to allow the band 15 to pass over it when the parts 3, 5 of the socket are pressed together. A spring ring 17 may be employed to increase the resilience of the socket and assist in positioning the band 15.
