Abstract

401,226. Grinding, waxing, or polishing machines. ELECTROLUX, Ltd., 153, Regent Street, London.-(Assignees of Inventia Patent-Verwertungs-Ges. ; 10, Herrenacker, Schaffhausen, Switzerland. June 12, 1933, No. 16755. Convention date, June 18, 1932. [Classes 19, 60, and 138 (i).] A grinding, waxing, or polishing attachment, such as a flat disc 20, is secured detachably to the disc-shaped brush member 10 of a floortreating machine by means which permits the attachment to rotate relatively to the bristles 11. As shown, the disc 20 is free to rotate about a sleeve 19 carried by a plate 15, which has spring arms 16 adapted to snap into a rectangular slot 14 in the brush stock 10. In a modification, the central aperture in the disc 20 has a metal reinforcement which is adapted to snap over and rotate on a spring stud fixed in the brush stock.
