398,707. Making razor blades. PASCH, H., 1, Kanalstrasse, Solingen, Germany. Jan. 18, 1933, No. 1666. Convention date, Jan. 18, 1932. [Class 83 (ii).] Lamellar safety-razor blades, stamped from a continuous steel ribbon, are provided with a rust-proof metallic coating by passing them through a bath whilst in the ribbon and before grinding. The cutting-edges themselves are rendered rust-proof due to the mirror-smooth finish imparted to them in the subsequent grinding and polishing operations which remove the metallic coating from them.
