[Classes 52 (ii) and 52 (iv).] A sanitary convenience device for use upon a bed is formed, in one piece, of rubber or similar resilient material and comprises a series of upstanding projections 2, upon which the body of the invalid rests, and between which are formed interconnecting drainage channels 4 extending the full depth of the device and directly communicating with a trough 5 formed on the periphery of the device by bending the edge 3 thereof upwards and inwards to overlap the peripheral projections. The projections may be arranged in straight lines so that the device may be readily bent, as shown in Fig. 3, for cleaning purposes.
