Abstract
395,187. Radio-active massage belts and bandages. KRUG, M., 42, Heimdallstrasse, Zehlendorf, Berlin. Sept. 8, 1932, No. 25089. Convention date, Sept. 9, 1931. [Class 81 (ii).] Surgical belts, bandages, &c. are formed of a flexible member e.g. a belt b of rubber sheet or tissue having massage-producing parts and radio-active means co-operating with or incorporated with the massage producing parts. The massaging devices may be pads c, c<1> having projections d or ribs, wires &c. thereon, which may be diagonally arranged as shown in Fig. 6. The radio-active substance may be applied on the massaging means as at e, Fig. 3, or may be placed beneath the massaging pads or between the projections thereon.
