Abstract

397,305. Thermionic valve-holders. ROGERS RADIO TUBES, Ltd., 100, Sterling Road, Toronto, Canada. Aug. 19, 1932, No. 23355. Convention 'date, March 11. [Class 39 (i).] In a holder for a valve having internal and external electrodes in which the contacts on the holder engage with the valve pins connected with the internal electrodes and resilient means are provided for retaining the valve in the holder, the resilient retaining means make contact with the external electrode. As shown, resilient members 4, 5, preferably three, are secured by eyelets 9 to an earthed metal plate 11, and are formed each with a right-angled bend fitting over the edge of the cap 7 and engaging with the external electrode 3. The holder 12, carrying contacts 14 engaging with the valve pins 13, is secured by the eyelets to the plate 11.
