[Class 136 (i).] A stand for elevating and supporting motor - bicycles to facilitate cleaning, repairing, &c. comprises a rectangular platform 1a provided with a central track 1b for the cycle wheels, fixed supports 5, 6 adapted to rest on the ground, pivoted supporting legs 1c near each end adapted to be locked automatically in the operative position, supports or stops 9, 10 adapted to be engaged respectively by the feet of rear and central stands attached to cycles, and a roller support or stop 11 adapted to be moved into engagement with the front wheel. The stand first rests on the supports 5, 6 at an angle to the ground (position A), and the cycle is run on to it with the aid of a ramp board 4 and held upright by the lowering of its own stand and by the engagement of the support 11 with the front wheel. The rear end of the platform is then tilted upwards about the support 5 by means of handles 13, the rear legs 1c falling to the operative position, in which they are locked against stops 8 by a spring plunger 7, (position B). The front end of the platform is then lifted by means of handles 13, and the front legs 1c drop to the operative position and are similarly locked, (position C).
