Abstract

395,691. Grilling and toasting apparatus. SHERMAN, J., 1, Alma Street, Blackburn. Jan. 13, 1932, No. 985. [Class 28 (i).] A reversible hand toaster and griller comprises a T-shaped handle A and a swinging frame or holder D constructed from a single length of wire formed at its ends with two eyelets C which hook on to two eyelets B formed at the ends of the T-head of the handle. The intermediate portion of the wire is bent to form two clips E, E<1> each of which is formed with two front parallel members el and with two rear parallel members e, and is adapted to engage a piece of bread or other food F at or towards each end thereof. The handle may be provided with a slidable bar G for supporting the frame D in a horizontal position over the top of a fire, e.g. as shown in Fig. 3.
