395,488. Batteries. CHLORIDE ELECTRICAL STORAGE CO., Ltd. and DEAN, H., Clifton Junction, near Manchester. May 18, 1932, No. 14118. [Class 53.] Glass plates d, b for arresting spray from an accumulator rest on the plate lugs d and on a bar c which extends across the cell. The bar c may rest on wooden dowels e which are slotted to receive wood separators f, or on lugs projecting from the negative plates. The bar c may alternatively rest on glass tube separators. The plates a, b rest on ledges formed on the bar which is recessed on the underside to receive the member by which it is supported as shown in the Figure. The plates a, b need not extend to the ends of the cell but may leave a space for the reception of a hydrometer.
