Abstract

A stencil-sheet coating-composition comprises a waxy substance produced by esterifying bleached montan wax with polyhydric alcohols such as ethylene glycol or glycerine. The esterification may be effected in the presence of water or high-boiling solvents such as naphthalene, and the action may be accelerated by adding anhydrous zinc chloride or hydrochloric acid.
