Abstract

A print roll composition comprises glue or gelatine, water, and a softener of sorbitol and diethylene glycol, the amount of sorbitol being from 65 to 85 per cent of the total softener. In an example a composition comprises 29 per cent of glue (dry weight), 51 per cent of softener (75 per cent sorbitol and 25 per cent diethylene glycol) and 20 per cent of water.
