Abstract
To improve the deep drawing power of sheet metal and steel strip intended for deep drawing, the metal is heated for 1-3 minutes at a temperature between 350 DEG C. and the Ac1 point so that the tensile strength attained through cold rolling or drawing is left unaltered.
