Abstract
389,372. Milling-machines. WANDERER-WERKE VORM. WINKLHOFER & JAENICKE AKT.-GES., Sch÷nau, near Chemnitz, Germany. Aug. 9, 1932, No. 22322. Convention date, Sept. 7, 1931. [Class 83 (iii).] A milling or like machine with overhanging arm is provided with lateral bracing members for the arm which are anchored to the machine standard. The bracing members 7, 8 for the overarm 1 of a milling- machine are carried by bolts 10 engaging T-slots in the standard 4 and are adjustably secured to the arm by bolts engaging the slots 2, this enables the arm to be longitudinally adjusted prior to clamping. Other adjustable connections may be employed in lieu of those shown, for example the bracing members may be hinged to the standard.
