Abstract

388,331. Shuttlechanging mechanism for change-box looms. ROSCHER, P. A., 3, Viktoriastrasse, and ROSCHER, F. J., 2, Hauptstrasse, both in Neugersdorf, Saxony, Germany. Sept. 24, 1932, No. 26594. [Class 142 (iii).] Looms with shuttle-changing mechanism arranged at the side of the loom opposite to the rotary change-box are provided with a stationary shuttle magazine a having compartments f corresponding to the chambers of the change-box, the releasing members for the shuttles being controlled by a cam on the rotarybox and rendered operative by weft-feeler mechanism. Pairs of releasing levers e on shafts d movable axially by a cam on the shaft of the rotary-box are brought successively into position for engagement with pairs of levers b holding the lowermost shuttle of each magazine compartment. When shuttle change is called for, the shafts d are turned bv a rod c and the releasing levers e turn those levers b of the compartment corresponding to the chamber of the rotary-box which is then in position to receive or discharge a shuttle.
