Abstract

A cleaning and disinfecting agent for lavatory pans, sinks, and the like consists of a mixture of sodium bisulphate with ferric sulphate. The ingredients may be mixed as such, or a mixture in suitable proportions of anhydrous sodium sulphate and ferric oxide or hydroxide may be treated with sulphuric acid to yield a mixture of sodium bisulphate with 5 to 30 per cent of ferric sulphate and free from excess sulphuric acid.ALSO:A cleaning and disinfecting agent for lavatory pans, sinks, and the like consists of a mixture of sodium bi-sulphate with ferric sulphate. The ingredients may be mixed as such, or a mixture of anhydrous sodium sulphate with ferric oxide or hydroxide may be treated with sulphuric acid, the reagents being so proportioned as to yield a mixture of sodium bisulphate with 5 to 30 per cent of ferric sulphate and without excess of sulphuric acid.
