Addition to 259,045, [Class 108 (i), Road vehicles, Body details &c. of]. [Class 108 (i).] In gulley emptying apparatus comprising two adjoining compartments as described in the parent Specification one of the compartments has a hinged connection with the other so that it may be swung open with the perforated partition. Fig. 2 shows a tank in horizontal section in which the compartment b is hinged to the compartment a, the perforated partition c is hinged to the compartment b at c<1> and is also linked thereto by link c<2>. A third compartment h for water or disinfectant may be provided.
