Abstract

<PICT:0384928/III/1> In a process for coating or impregnating bars or rods &c. the bars are mounted close together in a rotatable frame, and sprayed on each side with varnish, creosote, &c. A frame 2 is provided with fixed pins 3 and spring-loaded pins 4 between which the bars are mounted, and is pivotally supported in a yoke 6. The apparatus may be suspended by a hanger 8 running in rails 9, whereby the coated rods are conveyed to a drying chamber.
