Abstract
A process of cooling and drying glue &c. consists in running the glue into shallow moulds of glass, metal, &c. immediately after it leaves the extractor or boiling still without concentration, the cooling and drying being effected without removing the glue from the moulds. The glue &c. may be purified or bleached before passing into the moulds. Preferably the moulds are fixed within small drying-rooms, each of which may be provided with a fan for maintaining an even temperature throughout the room.
