[Class 38 (iii).] Synchronizing impulses received on an aerial 10, separated by a filter 12 and amplified by a valve 15, are applied to an auxiliary field of a motor 16 connected to a scanning-disc 18. An A.C. generator 17 driven by the motor is connected in the plate circuit of the valve so that the speed of the motor varies with changes in the phase relation of the synchronizing and locally generated impulses.
