384,062. Oil-can spouts. SINGER MANUFACTURING CO., Ltd. and RAWORTH, A. S., Singer, Clydebank, Dumbartonshire. Nov. 18, 1931, No. 31952. [Class 12 (ii).] A spout 6 is die-cast on to a lip 5 surrounding an aperture formed in the end of an oil can and provided either with perforations 51, Fig. 7, or with V-shaped radial notches 11, Fig. 8, into which the metal flows. The outlet end of the spout is threaded to receive a cap and is sealed by a narrow thickness of metal 10, capable of being readily punctured.
