Abstract

383,745. Concrete &c. mixers. LANGFORD, H., 96, Plymouth Place, Leamington Spa, and WINGET, Ltd., The Cape, Warwick. Nov. 16, 1931, No. 31764. [Class 86.] The pivoted feeding skip of a concrete mixer is given a vibratorv motion when in its discharging position by mounting the pivoting shaft in bearings riding in slots and providing the skip with rollers which are engaged by cams on the frame rotated from the drum by means of projections on the latter and star wheels on the cam shafts. The discharge end of the skip is adjustably mounted on a cradle 5 supported on a shaft 6 carried by bearings 7 riding in inclined slots 7a. The projections 9 on the skip are engaged by cams 13 on shafts 11 fitted with star wheels 15 which are engaged by projections 14 on the drum.
