[Class 125 (iii).] In an automatic closure for collapsable tubes comprising a pair of converging elastic lips forming a discharge slit, the edges 5, Fig. 3, of the lips 4 are curved or pointed, or otherwise deviate from the straight line connecting the ends 6 of the slit. Fig. 6 shows a modification in which broad contact surfaces 12 are provided at the end portions of the two lips.
