380,832. Waterproofing cellulosic sheets. COURTAULDS, Ltd., 16, St. Martin's-le-Grand, London, and SHEDDEN, F., 3, Light Lane, Coventry. June 20, 1931, No. 17914. [Class 140.] Transparent waterproof coatings are produced on sheets of regenerated cellulose by coating the sheets with a solution containing nitro-cellulose, castor oil, and wax, such as paraffin wax or ceresine wax. Tricresyl phosphate, light petroleum oil, and petroleum ether may be added. The Provisional Specification refers also to the treatment of textile materials, paper, and films of cellulose derivatives such as esters or ethers, with the solutions above specified.
