Abstract

Intermediate layers for uniting a priming coat of rubber with a cellulose derivative lacquer coat consist of a 60 per cent rubber dispersion, a 25 per cent aqueous solution of polymerized acrylic acid ester and a 10 per cent aqueous dispersion of methyl cellulose. For two intermediate layers, the relative proportions, by weight, of the ingredients are 100 : 200 : 40 and 100 : 575 : 115 respectively.
