Abstract

376,897. Pockets. CLIFF & CO., Ltd., J. and WALL, A. H., Globe Works, Forster Street, Walsall May 23, 1931, No. 15268. [Class 141.] A pocket or pouch which, according to the Provisional Specification, may be of any kind, has an opening 3 in one wall or side 2, leaving a marginal surround, and a flap 6 of shape and size corresponding with that of the opening and having a sliding fastener 7, one strip of which 9 is secured to the edge of the flap to extend towards the opening, the other strip 10 being secured to the marginal edge 8 of the opening 3 to extend towards the flap, so that when tie flap is closed and fastened the flap 6 and the marginal surround of the opening lie in parallel planes separated by a peripheral wall formed by the fastener. The body of the pocket is shown at 1, and the panel 4, the upper portion of which comprises the panel 6, is secured by stitching 5 to the wall 2.
