[Class 112.] A trimming device is spring pressed against a stop on the presser foot bracket so that the blades just clear the presser feet. The ledger blade 139 is clamped to a sliding rod 143 which carries a collar 149..Downward movement of the rod 143 is prevented by the collar engaging the stop 150. The cutting blade 140 is clamped to a sliding rod 154 and is pressed against the ledger blade by a spring 157. Linkage 167, 166, 165, 160, 156 effects the operation of the blade 140 from the main shaft 21. The presser feet, chaining-off finger and feed mechanism are identical with those described in Specifications 372,626 and 375,134.
