372,478. Frying-ranges. NUTTALL, H., Castle Works, Bridge Street, Rochdale. March 14, 1931, No. 7869. [Class 126.] In a frying-range provided with a heater 1 above the level of the furnace and connected to it by a duct, so that hot gases circulate through the heater for the purpose of maintaining cooked food in a rack or tray 3 warm, the gases are drawn forcibly through the heater by means such as a fan. In the construction shown, the heater 1 tapers in depth towards the front, the gases passing to it from the furnace through a conduit 5, thence round a baffle 11 in the heater, and leaving by a conduit 9 to which an exhaust fan (not shown) is connected. The heater 1 is connected to the conduits 5, 11 by telescopic joints, so that it may be adjusted vertically to vary the heating effect on the food above it.
