372,310. Vehicle doors. BARNES, J. D. and SEYMOUR, R. R., Rossbrook, Fairview Road, Timperley, Altrincham, Cheshire. Jan. 23, 1931, No. 2254. [Class 108 (i).] A roller shutter for a van is wound on boxes or sleeves 9 of spiral or volute form rotatably mounted on fixed spindles. A spiral spring is anchored in a slot in the fixed spindle and to a recessed slot 9e in one or each box. When the spring has been suitably tensioned the boxes may be.temporarily locked on the spindle by pins &c. 13 engaged in the slot in the spindle and the recess 9e in the box.
