Abstract
371,576. Wall and ceiling coverings ; tiles. HOLMES, R. W., Craigower, Llanelly, Carmarthenshire. April 1, 1931, No. 9919. [Classes 20 (iv) and 87 (i).] A sheet-metal tile for covering walls or ceilings is coated on the rear surface with vitreous enamel, and, while still wet, is sprinkled with particles of ground brick or the like, which is fused in by heating so as to provide a rough and porous surface to unite with the cement backing. The tile may be of dished form to receive the cement. According to the Provisional Specification, clay tiles may be secured to walls &c. by the above method.
