[Class 64 (ii).] In order to prevent the reflection of internally generated sound in theatres, halls, rooms, tunnels &c., the wall, ceiling or other surface from which echo is to be prevented is internally lined with a sponge-like flexible elastic material having interconnecting cells disseminated throughout, e.g. sponge rubber. The lining material may be applied in one or more layers and successive layers may vary as regards porosity. The exposed surface may be decorated as by spray painting, or material of the required colour may be used. Specification 202,843, [Class 64 (ii)], is referred to.
