Abstract

371,444. Cabin lights. UTLEY, T., Silverdale Avenue, Tuebrook, Liverpool. Jan. 23, 1931, No. 2311. [Class-113 (i).] In cabin lights the flange E of the main frame which is attached to the skin plating is of curved cross section terminating in flat bearing surfaces F. The inner and outer curved surfaces D, E may be concentric and inboard a beading G is provided against which the glass holder bears, the latter pivoting about the lugs J and being secured by bolts attached to lugs J<1>. At the parts I where the attachment bolts for the frame pass, the flange is thickened from edge to edge. The invention may be applied to frames for glass holders other than circular. Specification 333,538, [Class 113 (i), Ship and boat fittings &c.], is referred to.
