Abstract

371,267. Trouser-creasing appliances. BLONDIN, M. C., 19, Rue BanÞs, Meudon, Seine-et-Oise, France. Aug. 31, 1931, No. 24302. [Class 141.] A creasing appliance for operating on trouser legs comprises a pair of rollers carried by pivoted arm operating pincer fashion by the action of a spring. In one form of the invention, rollers 1, 2 are carried by arms 5, 6 respectively, the arms being pivoted together at 7 and pressed together by a spring 8 capable of being adjusted to different points of attachment 16. The arm 5 is pivoted also to a, lever 9. By operating the levers 5, 9, the rollers are opened against the action of the spring. In a modification, the levers 5, 6 operate without an additional lever. The appliance may be fastened by a clamp to a piece of furniture. The appliance may be dismantled readily for portability.
