[Class 100 (i).] In a coating or other machine in which an endless web 2 of material is repeatedly passed over a table 1 for treatment, the treated web is delivered in overlapping folds on to a slowly moving endless band 7 and carried to the rear of the machine, the folds then passing on to a lower band 10 moving in the opposite direction and being conveyed to the front of the machine for refeeding in open form to the table 1.
