Abstract

368,712. Jigging conveyers. JENKS & CATTELL, Ltd., A. E. and JENKS, A. E., Deans Road, Heath Town, Wolverhampton. Dec. 8, 1930, No. 36919. [Class 78 (i).] In connections for adjacent sections of troughing of the kind comprising bolts passed through sockets bl formed in the ends of bars B which are riveted to the underside of the sections near their ends, each rivet hole in a section A is countersunk and flanged down through an angle of not less than 45‹ to form flanges which enter the holes in a bar B, whereby the lateral strain between the members comes on the rivets reinforced by the flanges. Each flange forms a conical portion a which terminates at its lower end in a short cylindrical portion a<1>. Each hole d in a bar B is of sufficient diameter to receive the part a<1>.
