367,459. Filters or strainers. FULCHER, F. C., 70, Victoria Street, London. Aug. 15, 1930, No. 35927/31. Divided on 367,458. [Class 46.] In filtering or fine straining apparatus slots are formed between a series of fixed strips a, Fig. 1, and a series of discs b, which are rotated to keep the slots clear, the coarser impurities being trapped at the edges of the discs and the finer between the discs and the strips. The discs may be of different sizes, as indicated in Fig. 4, so as to give more than two stages for the trapping. The strips a may be straight, bent or curved.
