[Class 62.] A shock-absorber for insertion in a dog leash comprises a tubular casing 1 secured to a loop 2 by means of its enlarged end 4 and containing a compression spring 5 against which bears the end 8 of a rod 6 terminating in a loop 7. One of the loops is connected to a spring hook 3 and the other to the leash.
