Abstract

366,408. Impulse transmitters. SIEMENS & HALSKE AKT.-GES., Siemensstadt, Berlin. June 18, 1931, No. 17703. Convention date, June 18, 1930. [Class 40 (iv).] A transmitter 1 of the dial type is set by means of an arcuate finger-plate 11 mounted on a shaft 8 which is geared to the shaft 2 of the dial through a toothed segment 4 and a pinion 3, the end of the slot 17 in the cover-plate 13 serving as a finger-stop. The return movement may be effected by the usual restoring spring of the dial or by a spring attached to the segment 4. A weight 7 adjustably suspended from the segment 4 serves to balance the parts mounted on the shaft 8. The finger holes may be arranged in two rows, which need not be staggered if the end of the slot 17 serving as the finger-stop is suitably shaped. A number strip 12 is mour.ted below the finger-plate.
