Abstract

366,207. Teapot &c. spouts. YOUNG, B. S., Unley, Spratslade Drive, Longton, Staffordshire. Dec. 11, 1930, No. 37321. [Class 66.] The spout of a teapot, coffee-pot or like pouring vessel is formed with a shelf c sloped slightly downwardly in a forward direction and terminating in a shallow rim e, the sides f being raised above the level of the rim. The shelf permits the accumulation within the mouth of a drop g which is stated to have the effect of drawing back into the spout any liquid remaining on the exterior of the rim e after pouring.
