Abstract
366,040. Ignition switches. FABRICA NACIONAL DE AUTOMOVILES SOC. ANON., 22, Plaza de Cataluna, Barcelona, Spain. July 24, 1930, No. 22332. Convention date, Aug. 8, 1929. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. [Class 7 (iv).] Switch contacts 21, 22, the former of which is responsive to the failure of pressure in the lubricating oil system, are inserted in the ignition circuit. A flexible cable 17 connects the insulating cap 25 for moving the contact 21 to a spring-pressed piston 11 in a cylinder 12 having conduits 13, 14 communicating with the oil pump and engine piping respectively. A passage 18 in the piston 11 permits a small amount of oil to pass on the return stroke. For providing ignition current at starting, and energizing the starting motor, the double contacts shown in Fig. 3 may be shunted across the terminals 21, 22.
