[Class 40 (iv).] Means for retaining an ear-piece c, particularly for deaf persons, in contact with the ear, comprises a tubular member h of soft rubber, constituting an extension of the sound-conducting plug b and adapted to engage the acoustic duct, and two members, one of which d extends upwardly and the other (not shown) extends rearwardly from the portion b, which are shaped to engage recesses in the auricle.
