[Class 34 (i).] In drying lengths of fibrous material impregnated with a solution of resin in spirit, the two stages described in the parent Specification are carried out in a single chamber. Two or more streams of air are circulated by fans u, u<1> through apertures x<1>, y<1> across the material d travelling towards the right, and the circulation may be continued to any extent before the air from part I of the chamber (and if desired the air from part II also) is led to plant for the recovery of the solvent. The air in circulation may be continuously partially replaced by fresh air.
