[Class 141.] The invention described in the parent Specification is modified. to apply the construction to garments for ladies' wear having an opening c at the hip portion. As before, the waistband b has a tunnel in which is provided an elastic strap a anchored at one end a<x> and provided at the other end with one or more buttonholes b<5> for engaging one element b<3> of a double button. The other part of the button is attached to the waistband. An extension b<2> on the strap has a buttonhole for engaging a button bl on the inside of the waistband.
