Abstract

Welded vessels or plant for use in chemical processes are made from austenitic steel containing 10-20 per cent of chromium, 6-14 per cent of nickel, 0,07-0,25 per cent of carbon, and 0,3-0,9 per cent of titanium, with or without 0,3-1,5 per cent of tungsten. Specification 316,394, [Class 82 (i), Metals, Extracting &c.], is referred to. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 337,349, [Class 82 (i), Metals, Extracting &c.].
