[Class 52 (ii).] A cot comprises a framework and a cloth hammock-like cot member suspended therefrom having an upper extended portion so as to be adjustable in depth. Such a device is shown having a folding framework 1 supporting the trough-shaped cot member 7 by means of rods 3 passing through hems 8. A second pair of hems 9 is provided for adjusting the depth of the cot member, the upper part P of which may be of netting or other open material. Protective semi-rigid members 11 may be provided to prevent the child from striking against the frame members, together with a loose mattress 10 consisting of wooden slats fitted into a cloth casing.
