359,713. Insulation for dynamo-electric machines. SIEMENS-SCHUCKERTWERKE AKT.-GES., Siemensstadt, Berlin. Oct. 23, 1930, No. 31885. Convention date, Feb. 28. [Class 35.] In high - tension machines provided with ring mains secured bv bolts, the insolation of the bolt and the main at the point where they approach each other is covered with a layer which is semi-conducting at the voltages concerned, e.g. graphite or asbestos band. In the arrangement shown the main a is supported by a holder c secured by a bolt d and the main and the bolt have insulating coverings b, f covered with layers of insulating material g, h.. The layers g, h may be connected by a semi-conducting strip i of asbestos band &c.
