Abstract
358,156. Cutting rings &c. from dough &c. HAUG, F., 40, Hallstrasse, Cannstatt, Wurtemberg, Germany, and BAKER PERKINS, Ltd., 43, Hythe Road, Willesden Junction, London. July 14, 1930, No. 21328. Convention date, March 12. [Class 87 (ii).] Dough pieces of the shape shown in Fig. 2 are cut out by knives on a press head o. A mass k is secured on a rod i carrying ejectors c, d for the outside waste and the stamped articles a. On the upstroke of the press the knives are withdrawn and the outside waste and the article are ejected. A plate l carrying a stripper e for the inside waste b is then actuated by a stop q. The waste from the stripper e falls upon a sheet r which is moved under the knives by a cam s. The sheet is withdrawn suddenly to throw the waste on to a band or in a bin.
